This project began as a stylized character study inspired by Jam City’s Panda Pop, but evolved into a technical exploration of rigging systems, control workflows, and tool development inside Blender.
Beyond sculpting and optimization, my primary focus was building a clean, animator-friendly rig with structured control hierarchies, organized bone layers, and clear deformation separation. I paid close attention to weight distribution, joint behavior, and maintaining appealing silhouette deformation while keeping the rig lightweight and efficient.
